Palm uses a secure chat application from LogMeIn Inc.. This chat application downloads and runs automatically in most browsers. Firefox and some other browsers prevent running of applications from the browser for security reasons. We will be changing to a seamless solution for Firefox users shortly. Thank you for your patience.

For Windows:

1. Upon clicking the chat button, you will see a dialog asking you to save the Support-LogMeInRescue application. Choose Save File.
2. From the menus in Firefox, choose Tools | Downloads.
3. The first item in the list should be the Support-LogMeInRescue application. Double click this application to start your chat.
4. This application is designed for one-time use, in order to protect your security. It can be deleted or ignored once you have completed your chat.

For Mac OS X:

1. Upon clicking the chat button, you will see a dialog asking you to open or save the LMRescue.pkg.zip file. Choose to Save the file.
2. The Downloads window will automatically appear showing LMIRescue.pkg.zip. Double click this archive to unpack the installer.
3. Press F11 to reveal your desktop. Double click LMIRescue.pkg to start your chat.
4. This application is designed for one-time use, in order to protect your security. It can be deleted or ignored once you have completed your chat.
